If it contains a certain amount of manganese and chromium, it can neutralize the adverse effects of iron;A small amount of copper or zinc is sometimes added to increase the strength of the alloy without significantly reducing its corrosion resistance and a small amount of conductive material to offset the adverse effects of titanium and iron on conductivity;Zirconium or titanium can refine the grain and control the recrystallization structure; to improve processing performance, lead and bismuth can be added. Mg2Si Solid dissolved in aluminum, so that the alloy has the artificial aging hardening function.
6061 aluminum alloy has excellent properties, mainly including the following aspects:

6061 Common mechanical property parameters:
1. Tensile strength: The tensile strength of 6061 aluminum alloy can generally reach 280-310 MPa, and is even higher in T6 state, reaching the maximum value above.
2. Yield strength: The yield strength of 6061 aluminum alloy is generally about 240 MPa, which is higher in T6 state.
3. Exlongation: The elongation of 6061 aluminum alloy is usually between 8 and 12%, which means some ductility during stretching.
4. Hardness: 6061 aluminum alloy hardness is usually between 95-110 HB, high hardness, has a certain wear resistance.
5. Bending strength: The bending strength of 6061 aluminum alloy is generally about 230 MPa, showing good bending performance.
These mechanical performance parameters will vary with different heat treatment states and processing processes. In general, the strength and hardness can be improved after proper heat treatment (such as T6 treatment) of the 6061 aluminum alloy, thereby improving its mechanical properties. In practice, appropriate heat treatment states can be selected according to specific requirements to achieve the best mechanical performance.
Heat treatment process:
Rapid annealing: heating temperature 350~410℃, with the effective thickness of the material, the insulation time is between 30~120min, air or water cooling.
High temperature annealing: the heating temperature is 350~500℃, the finished product thickness is 6mm, the insulation time is 10~30min, <6mm, heat penetration, the air is cold.
Low-temperature annealing: the heating temperature is 150~250℃, and the insulation time is 2~3h, with air or water cooling.
